Halloween night in Tallahassee has an after-dark lineup to match the day's two college football games and trunk-or-treats. Event listings read this cycle show the Moonlight Masquerade at the Tallahassee Senior Center from 6 p.m., and the Fright Crawl — the city's Halloween bar crawl — starting at 7:30 p.m. with wristband pickup until 10 p.m., stops including Blue Tavern at 1206 N. Later in the night, listings show a Halloween Bash adult costume party at Eve on Adams from 9 p.m., TALLOWEEN 2026 at 926 W. Tharpe St. from 9:30 p.m., and SPOOKFEST at The Moon from 10 p.m. Family events earlier in the evening included a Hallepalooza night from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at 3050 Agape Lane and trunk-or-treat events in the 3 to 5 p.m. window on Pedrick Road, all listed as free.
One calendar fact shapes the whole night: daylight saving time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, when clocks fall back one hour to 1 a.m. Halloween revelers get the extra hour the calendar gives only when the holiday and the clock change share a weekend — and drivers heading home share the roads with trick-or-treaters and game traffic from Bragg Memorial Stadium and Doak Campbell Stadium, where Florida State kicks off against Clemson at 7 p.m.
