Tallahassee Sunday Weather: Rain Chance Jumps to 69 Percent and the High Is Cut to 74.1 on the Latest Feed
The afternoon feed turned Sunday wetter: a drizzle code, a 69 percent rain chance and a high of only 74.1. Monday dries out at 80.6 before Election Day turns showery again.

Sunday afternoon in Tallahassee has turned into the wettest version of the day the feed has shown. The station's live weather feed, read at 1:32 p.m., put the temperature at 73.9 degrees, feeling like 76.1, under an overcast code - and it now carries Sunday as a drizzle day (code 53) with a high of just 74.1, a low of 66.2 and a 69 percent precipitation chance. That is a material change from the midday feed, which had Sunday's rain chance at 52 percent and the high at 76.8.
Monday is the dry break in the run-up to the election. The feed holds Monday overcast but essentially dry - a high of 80.6, a low of 64.9 and a precipitation chance of only 7 percent - the warmest and driest day of the next three, and the last full day of campaigning before Tuesday.
Election Day itself carries a shower code. Tuesday's feed shows code 80, a high of 76.1, a low of 65.8 and a 26 percent rain chance - not a washout in the current run, but enough for voters heading to their precincts between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. to plan for passing showers. Wednesday stays unsettled behind it (code 51, high 77.9, rain chance 40 percent) before Thursday warms to 83.4.
