Tallahassee Reporters and Editors Will Break Down the 2026 Election Results at 'News & Brews' on Nov. 10 (Tallahassee Watch News)

Tallahassee's election story will not end when the polls close on Tuesday. Press Forward North Florida and the Capital Region News Collaborative will host "News & Brews," a free facilitated conversation about the local election outcomes, on Tuesday, Nov. 10, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Ology Northside Taproom, 2910 Kerry Forest Parkway in Tallahassee, the Tallahassee Democrat reported. After a long campaign season, attendees can mingle and discuss who won, who lost, and what it means for the community, with local journalists offering insights into the outcomes.

The panel spans the capital's newsrooms: William Hatfield, Jim Rosica and Jeff Burlew of the Tallahassee Democrat; Tom Flanigan and Tristan Wood from WFSU; Steve Stewart of Tallahassee Reports; Matt Hoffmann of WCTV; and Kate Payne of The Florida Trib. The event is free and open to the public, with registration information carried on the event's Eventbrite listing.

The hosts work on the region's information ecosystem year-round, not just on election night. Press Forward North Florida seeks to bring journalists, nonprofit leaders, educators and community stakeholders together to identify local information needs and build sustainable solutions for trusted local news, and it was founded with support from the Knight Foundation and the Community Foundation of North Florida. The Nov. 10 session applies that mission to the freshest subject there is: a Tallahassee election, one week old, with its results still being argued about.
