Halloween Saturday in Tallahassee: Trunk-or-Treats in the Morning, Two Football Games, and a Fright Crawl at Night (Tallahassee Watch News)

The family part of Tallahassee's Halloween starts in daylight. A Trunk or Treat Club Car Open House runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at 3213 Apalachee Parkway, and a Halloween Festival follows from noon at 2550 West Tennessee Street, with a costume party, trunk-or-treating, kids' activities, treat bags, a raffle and a fall photo booth, according to the event listings. At 3 p.m., the Ford Fan Fest adds its own Trunk or Treat on Langford Green, in the run-up to the Florida State-Clemson game - one of two college football games sharing the city with the holiday on Saturday.

After dark, the haunted-house option is the Terror of Tallahassee at 1408 Lake Bradford Road, open October 28 through 31 with tickets available online and in person. Neighborhood trick-or-treating gets a cooperative forecast: the station's outlook for Saturday is a high near 81.5 degrees with only an 8 percent chance of rain, cooling after sunset - warm for costumes, and dry for the walk from door to door.

For adults, the night's organized option is the Fright Crawl, billed as Tallahassee's largest Halloween bar crawl: doors at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, wristbands to be picked up by 10 p.m., one wristband covering four or more bars with no cover, and the crawl running until 2 a.m., for ages 21 and over. This year, even 2 a.m. comes with an asterisk - clocks fall back an hour at 2 a.m. Sunday, handing Halloween night an extra hour at the end of it.
