Sunday Is the Last Day to Vote Early in Leon County: All 10 Sites Open on the First Day of Standard Time
Leon County's early voting ends Sunday, Nov. 1. Any registered Leon County voter can vote at any of the county's 10 sites - the Courthouse from 8 a.m., the Elections Center from 8:30, and the libraries and community centers from 10 to 6 - before Election Day rules take over on Tuesday.

Sunday, Nov. 1 is the final day of early voting in Leon County, and it arrives with an extra hour: clocks fall back at 2 a.m. Sunday as daylight saving time ends. The Leon County Supervisor of Elections lists 10 early voting sites open Sunday, and unlike Election Day, a registered Leon County voter may cast a ballot at any of them, regardless of precinct.
Hours vary by site. The Leon County Courthouse, at 301 S. Monroe St., votes from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; the Leon County Elections Center, at 2990-1 Apalachee Parkway, from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and the branch libraries and community centers - including the Northeast Branch Library, the Dr. B.L. Perry Jr. Branch Library, the FAMU and FSU student union sites, Fort Braden, Lake Jackson and Woodville - from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., according to the elections office's 2026 guide. Voters can also drop off a Leon County vote-by-mail ballot at any early voting site during voting hours.
After Sunday, the next chance to vote is Election Day itself, Tuesday, Nov. 3, when polls are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and voters must vote at their assigned precinct polling place. Mail ballots must be in the hands of the Supervisor of Elections by 7 p.m. on Election Day to count. Voters can confirm their information, sample ballot and Election Day polling place at LeonVotes.gov or by calling (850) 606-8683.
