Tallahassee Halloween Night Weather: 73 and Overcast as the Clocks Fall Back, Sunday's Rain Chance Down to 23 Percent (Tallahassee Watch News)

Tallahassee's Halloween night is mild under cloud: 73.3 degrees and overcast at the station's evening reading, feeling like 74.1, after a Saturday high of 82 with only a 9 percent chance of rain. The night also carries the year's clock change - at 2 a.m. Sunday, clocks fall back an hour to 1 a.m., giving the night an extra hour and bringing Sunday evening's darkness an hour earlier on the clock.

Sunday itself now looks drier than it did earlier in the weekend. The latest feed keeps Sunday overcast with a high of 81.6 and a low of 67.6, but the rain chance has fallen to 23 percent - down from the low-40s in forecasts earlier this week. Sunday is also the final day of early voting in Leon County, and the drier outlook is cooperative news for voters heading to the county's sites on standard time.

The week ahead is unsettled in a quieter way. Monday brings light drizzle (code 51) with a high of 79.1 and a 19 percent rain chance, Tuesday repeats the drizzle pattern at 81 degrees with a 29 percent chance, and Wednesday's drizzle chance rises to 37 percent at 81.7. Thursday is the week's sharpest day, with a thunderstorm code (95) in the forecast, a high of 82.7 and a 19 percent rain chance, before Friday clears completely - sunny (code 0), a high of 77.9 and a low of 59, the coolest morning in the stretch. All figures are from the station's live Open-Meteo feed, read Saturday night.
