Tallahassee Sunday Weather: Rain Code Returns in the Overnight Feed, High of 72.4 and the Rain Chance Up to 47 Percent
The station's live feed changed Sunday's picture again overnight: rain is back on the code, the high slipped to 72.4, and the rain chance climbed to 47 percent for the final day of early voting - with a drier, warmer Election Day behind it.

Tallahassee woke up on the first full day of standard time to 69.8 degrees under an overcast sky, and the station's live Open-Meteo feed says Sunday is now the wettest day of the week. The Sunday code is 63 - rain - with a high of only 72.4 degrees, a low of 65.4 and a 47 percent precipitation chance, the highest figure on the seven-day board.
The numbers moved overnight. The feed read at 1:33 a.m. carried a drizzle code and a 35 percent rain chance for Sunday; the 3:32 a.m. read raised the chance to 47 percent and put the rain code back on the day. Voters heading to Leon County's 10 early voting sites for the final day of early voting, and anyone with outdoor plans, should expect a damp day rather than a washout ruling - the code promises rain at times, not a storm.
The week dries out quickly behind Sunday. Monday turns mostly cloudy and warmer with a high of 79.5 and only a 7 percent rain chance. Election Day on Tuesday carries a drizzle code (53), a high of 80 and a 27 percent rain chance - worth an umbrella in the bag for the walk into the precinct, but no rainout in the forecast.
Wednesday stays mild with drizzle possible and a high of 78.8, Thursday warms to 83.5 under a light-drizzle code, and Friday turns clear with a high of 77.9 before a mostly cloudy, cooler Saturday at 77.7. The Weather Desk will update this file as the feed moves.
