Tallahassee Halloween Arts Guide: Pumpkin Painting in the Morning, an Organ Spooktacular in the Afternoon
The Council on Culture and Arts listings for Saturday put Halloween programming across the city all day, from a museum pumpkin-painting session at 10 a.m. to a Halloween dance party at the American Legion hall at 7:30 p.m.

Halloween in Tallahassee is not only a football Saturday. The Tallahassee Arts Guide published by the Council on Culture and Arts lists a full day of arts programming for Saturday, October 31, starting with an AHA x MoFA pumpkin painting and trick-or-treat session at Florida State University's Museum of Fine Arts at 10 a.m.
The afternoon listings include a Trunk-R-Treat and Organ Spooktacular at St. John's Episcopal Church at 2 p.m., Halloween caramel apple demonstrations at Lofty Pursuits at 2 p.m., and VenderWeen, presented by Together Fest TLH at Tom Brown Park, at 3 p.m. The Havana Quilt Sale also runs Saturday at the Havana History and Heritage Museum, listed at 10 a.m.
The evening closes with music: a Halloween dance party with the Bog Lilies at the American Legion Hall, Post 13, listed at 7:30 p.m., and The Eve of Samhain at the Mickee Faust Clubhouse at 8 p.m., capping the October 30-31 run listed in the guide. Families planning the day around the two home football games can fit the morning and early-afternoon listings in before the 3 p.m. Florida A&M kickoff.
